O evento se caracteriza por relembrar músicas emblemáticas das décadas de 70, 80, 90... e que continuam no imaginário de muita gente, pessoas mais das antigas, como também de muitos jovens que curtem a boa música. O ‘Assustado’ já faz parte da cena cultural de João Pessoa. O evento foi criado pela jornalista Ruth Avelino há 19 anos e, em quase duas décadas, sem desvirtuar o seu propósito, de “resgatar os clássicos nacionais e internacionais dos anos de 70, 80 e 90”. “A festa costuma reunir gente de todas as idades num astral de harmonia e nostalgia!”, aponta a jornalista. “Com esmero e responsabilidade, a organização do Assustado transforma o Clube Cabo Branco numa boate dos anos 70, com iluminação especial e exibição de vídeos raros”, disse Ruth Avelino. O ‘Assustado’ começa a partir das 21h e os ingressos custam R$ 20. Não há reserva de mesas, por isso, quem chegar mais cedo pode ficar num local melhor.
