As homenagens foram propostas pela vereadora Helena Holanda (Progressistas). “Duas mulheres fortes, guerreiras e nordestinas maravilhosas, que já realizaram muitos trabalhos importantes e continuam atuando, como artistas renomadas, no teatro, no cinema e em várias novelas”, justificou a parlamentar. Helena Holanda destacou que as atrizes paraibanas são pessoas diferenciadas, com dons artísticos excepcionais. “Deus colocou elas aqui na terra, com todo esse talento, com toda essa arte, para transformar vidas”, acrescentou.
