Na ocasião, foi entregue o Troféu Waldemar Duarte, que elegeu onze contemplados, e a Comenda Wills Leal, que prestou homenagem a três personalidades importantes para a cultura e a economia local. Entre elas, o jogador Hulk, que tem investido muito na Paraíba e auxiliado a economia local, e esteve presente no evento. Receberam o Troféu Waldemar Duarte, Abrasel PB – Associação Brasileira de Bares e Restaurantes, na figura do presidente Arthur Lira, José Vieira, do site Vida Arretada, Clóvis Júnior, artista plástico, Multifeira Brasil Mostra Brasil, que a 25 anos realiza a feira que movimenta a economia e o turismo do estado, Regina Amorim, gestora de turismo e responsável pela Santura – Associação de Turismo e Cultura de Santa Luzia, Bodódromo, restaurante típico de Campina Grande, Fernanda Melo, consultora de Turismo do Sebrae, Dona Nevinha Siva, idealizadora do Shopping Rural no sítio Tambaba, no Conde, Revista Tribuna, sob editoria de Manuel Raposo, Vila Junina, em Campina Grande, Encontro da Consciência Cristã, um grande evento que movimenta Campina Grande. Já a Comenda Wills Leal, nome dado em homenagem ao primeiro presidente da Abrajet PB, além de ter sido entregue ao jogador Hulk, prestou homenagem ao estudioso e autor do livro Jackson do Pandeiro: o rei do ritmo, Fernando Moura, e o Mestre Fúba, figura importantíssima na prévia carnavalesca da capital, e criador do Bloco Muriçocas do Miramar que todos os anos leva milhares de pessoas para as ruas.
